The Tarcutta Touch Association was formed over forty years ago and provides a family-friendly environment for people to participate in sport. For many years, the annual competition has culminated in teams competing for the A-Grade Ray Plum Cup and the B-Grade Tarcutta RSL & Citizens Club Shield.
Competitions are held on Monday evenings from mid-October through to Mid-March to take advantage of the long evenings during daylight savings. Matches start at 6:00pm with a mini-touch competition for young players (9 years and below) before the main mixed competition is played. Competitions are affiliated with NSW Touch Football and conducted in accordance with the Touch Football Australia Rules (8th Edition). Some additional Park Rules also help address specific local arrangements. Registrations generally open in late September via the link on this website.
Competitions are played at Breaden Sportsground, Tarcutta, a picturesque rural sportsground nestled between Tarcutta Creek and the Tarcutta Horse & Jockey Hotel. Players and spectators can relax after the weekly games over a barbeque dinner and refreshments at the hotel. These competitions have been an important part of the social fabric of the Tarcutta community for many years and provide an opportunity for adults and juniors to participate in sport in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
The Association has recognised the enormous contributions made by several individuals to the success of the competition.
